Jennifer Remling says that she was tired of being unhappy, so she adopted the motto: “Carve Your Own Road.” Reming now raises awareness and gives people tools to help them pursue their dreams.

This is something only the uper middle class could do, really. Someone who is struggling to support a family on low pay can't just pick up and go as they please.
I agree that you can't pick up and go as you please. I think that the concept of follow your dream has been around so long that people really want to do it.

I'm Joe Remling and came across this blog today; We agree it is very difficult for people who are on a lower income and or supporting a family to pick up and move, literally.
Carve Your Own Road is about following a passion or a dream that can make what you do everday meaningful. It may be as simple as taking an art class, taking lunch with you family or walking the dog to the coffee shop every morning. The idea is to take small steps.
For us, it was hitting the road and seeing the US in a different way.
