A community garden project nurtures community and health

A community garden builds a sense of community, a feeling of family and a revived sense of spirituality and physical activity for mostly aboriginal people in Vancouver. Peggy August says that if it weren’t for the garden, she’d probably be at home “rotting in front of a TV.”
