An amazing look at the first weight loss robot coach. In its initial MIT trial, it's made to go around homes and to look at human-robot interaction for a couple of months to see if it’s a useful weight loss tool. The robot is equipped with a camera that finds where people are and stares at you while you exercise. Some of the things that it will tell you: “If you tell me at least once a day how much you eat and exercise, we will be more likely to get to your ideal weight goal.”
also interesting to link: the personal robot group.

I would love a robot telling me what to do. Not!
Robots helping one diet. Now what's this world coming to?
better than paying for a personal trainer fees.
I cannot be held responsible for my actions if the robot calls me a lardass.
I don't know if this would be different from a personal trainer, but a substitute, so I'm sure an initial fee would be appropriate. Better than paying forever.
I need a sexbot
